Illustration created for a book cover on street theatre in Belo Horizonte. At the request of the client (Fundação Municipal de Cultura – Belo Horizonte City Hall), the design was meant to engage with urban expressions and popular folk aesthetics. The result is influenced by graffiti and traditional Brazilian woodcuts. Semantically, the concept positions the street as the stage and the lamppost as the spotlight.
